Here’s our recipe for decadent Yorkshire Ginger Parkin biscuit s’mores, packed with fluffy artisan marshmallow & milk chocolate & ginger shards, gently toasted on the fire pit.

Yorkshire Parkin Biscuits

Yorkshire Parkin Ginger S’mores

To make Yorkshire Parkin S’mors;

Ingredients:

Box of Lottie Shaw’s Yorkshire Parkin Biscuits

1 packet of small artisan Marshmallows (large tend to make the S'more a bit too sweet!)

1 bag of good quality chocolate chunks we used our Belgian Chocolate Ginger Shards or you can use our Belgian Chocolate drops or children)

You’ll need wooden disposable skewers

And maybe napkins / wet wipes, things can get a little gooey and sticky!

The Yorkshire Parkin biscuit S’mors are a perfect size & richness for one per person, we’d be surprised if you managed two!

Take a marshmallow on a skewer, gently warm over the fire pit avoiding getting too close to any flames. The trick is to take your time for optimum soft marshmallow centre but still firm outside and not burning it, once it turns caramel move the position! Next place the thin piece of chocolate shard on the Yorkshire Parkin biscuit - or several of our Belgian chocolate drops and then place the toasted marshmallow between this and another top biscuit dragging off the skewer to create a sandwich.

Gently press together to heat the chocolate against the marshmallow ... Leave a minute - this warms the chocolate and saves your mouth from burning - the marshmallows get very hot!

Great to enjoy with a steaming cup of our Belgian Hot Chocolate!

But it wouldn't be Bonfire night without the classic treats! Our traditional Bonfire Hero is course our authentic taste of Yorkshire - Yorkshire Ginger Parkin Cake.

Enjoyed since the 1800's, our Yorkshire Parkin heritage recipe still made the traditional way can be enjoyed individually wrapped & pocket-sized. The perfect offering of delicious moist molasses, oat & ginger cake as a warming treat around the fire.
